This sale is for a. Rare , early quartz watch , Circa 1972 in new old stock condition. This watch is of historical importance because the movement is the height of technology and in 1972 it won an accuracy competition at the " Observatoire de Neuchatel ". The movement is cal 352 by Girard - Perregaux.
A classic thoroughbred that oozes 1970s style. The dial is very cool in silver with horizontal stripes , chrome/black hour batons and hands and furnished with quick set date window at 3.
There are some scratches on the glass as seen in the pictures. The watch case is large and certainly makes for a watch that you know you have on your wrist. All stainless case with push on back cover. On its original heavy link bracelet and fits a max 7.5 wrist. The watch is signed on the dial, crown, movement and back cover.
It is running perfectly and holding time with a new battery fitted. This watch is a real investment and such a rare piece that you are unlikely to find one anywhere else and especially in this condition. Case Measures 46mm top to bottom , 41mm side to side (without crown) and 13.5mm depth.
